Terms of use

The agreement between you and MRB Lab for using SwipeDrop.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using SwipeDrop (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and MRB Lab (“we”, “us”).

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell or redistribute the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Your photos and your decisions

The app deletes photos and videos from your device library at your instruction. Deletion is always a deliberate step: swiping only stages a decision, you review your selection, and you confirm before anything is removed. Your operating system may ask you to confirm again.

You are responsible for what you choose to delete. We strongly recommend keeping a backup of anything you care about before a cleanup session. On iOS, deleted items go to Recently Deleted and can be restored for 30 days; on Android, recovery depends on your device and gallery app. We cannot recover deleted photos for you.

Video compression and Live Photo conversion modify files in your library. The app shows you the result and only replaces an original after you approve it. Keep a copy of anything irreplaceable before converting it.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • The app is free to download. SwipeDrop Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Prices, billing periods and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, and vary by region and platform. Your store confirms the exact amount before you are charged.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your store account on confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. We cannot cancel it for you.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. Contact them directly for a refund request.

5. Free version limits

The free version includes a daily allowance of deletions. These limits may change over time as we tune the product. Features available to free and paid users are described in the app and on this site, and are subject to change.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the app unlawfully, or to access, alter or delete media you do not have the right to access, alter or delete. Do not attempt to circumvent purchase verification or the free version’s limits.

7. Privacy

The app processes your photos entirely on your device. See the privacy policy for the full detail.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We are not liable to you for doing so. Continued use after an update means you accept the terms as they then stand.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its detection of duplicates, similar or blurry photos will be complete or accurate in every case.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, photos, videos or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Third-party terms

Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from. Where those terms conflict with these for a store-related matter, the store’s terms apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no obligation to provide support for the app.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — set this before launch], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply to you.
